Scheduling options for the thermostat’s programming also must be considered:

  • One-week – Whatever temperature changes you set will be the same every day of the week.
  • 5-2 – The scheduling is the same for five consecutive days, and then different for two days (usually the weekend).
  • 5-1-1 – The scheduling is the same for five days, different for the sixth day, and different for the seventh day. Homeowners usually select Saturday and Sunday for the two different days.
  • 7-day – You can set a different program for each day of the week.
